Set in Stone
Produced for Cork Community Television in collaboration with The Cork Stonemasons, this documentary
provides an insight into the trade of the stonemasons in Cork. It depicts a way of life, which is now dying out, complete with traditions, including its own language. We meet various well-known families of stonemasons and hear about their unique culture. The film is part funded through the Sound & Vision Scheme of the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland.

Natural Traditions (working title)
Produced for Cork Community Television in collaboration with the Community Midwives Association, this documentary captures the age old tradition of home birthing, a practice which is now becoming very rare. It highlights some of the customs and traditions associated with the practice and tells the story of its part in Irish society. The film is part funded through the Sound & Vision Scheme of the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland.

I Went Down to the North Infirmary
Produced for Cork Community Television in collaboration with the Northside Folklore Project, this documentary explores the significance of a former hospital, the North Infirmary, to the people of Cork.  The film examines the history of the structure itself, its impact in the community and the evolution of its function through the voices of the people of Cork, bringing this important building to life for posterity. The film is part funded through the Sound & Vision Scheme of the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland.

Facilitation of film-making workshops
Leading to the production of a short film ‘The Bully’ with a youth group from Togher Family Centre After Schools Project. Screened in the local community on completion.

Facilitation of film-making workshops
For young people with the BAY Project (based in Ballyphehane/Togher CDP). Facilitation of workshops for youth leaders on how to produce films with young people and how to resource such projects.

Production of 2 x 4 part series for Cork Community Television: ‘Cork Today’ produced with Nasc – The Irish Immigrant Support Centre and ‘Moving Age’ produced with Older People’s groups in Cork City. The project is part funded through the Sound & Vision Scheme of the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland.
